Nordic Geological Solutions LLC (Nordic) is a progressive consulting practice, providing comprehensive geological advice and hands on solutions to our clients in the natural resource sector at very competitive rates. Nordic was founded in Ulan Bator in April 2011 by four senior geologists and have completed numerous projects for our international clients including independent technical reports for 3 IPO’s (ASX and AIM).

Our geoscientists have presented data at international geological conferences in Australia, Mongolia, South Africa, Sweden, Indonesia, USA and China, and our scientific results have so far been published in a number of international journals such as Australian Journal of Earth Sciences, Journal of Sedimentary Research, Sedimentary Geology and International Journal of Coal Geology. Furthermore, Dr Michaelsen is on the Editorial Board of Mongolian Geoscientist as well as New Concepts in Global Tectonics Journal.

Main office compound in Dalanzadgad and VOLI office in central UB to reopen during Q4 2025
In 2013 we established a 3,300m2 secure compound in Dalanzadgad, South Gobi Basin, with 170m2 office buildings, solar and wind power, 4 gers and container storage for our 4×4 vehicles and equipment. We have also planted +80 trees. While Nordic maintains a very strong presence in Mongolia we provide our services throughout the world.
